Hello. My name is Quinn. I'm a writer.

I am currently studying Communications - Professional Writing at Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario. And I think that I could be the write righter... wait a minute... the right writer for you!

In the sixth grade, I had my first brush with literary acclaim. For an English assignment, I wrote a children's book called Clive the Christmas Cricket. I wrote it entirely in rhyming verse. My teachers lauded it, I read it in front of my class, and I was so immensely proud of myself.

Now this isn't the part where I reverently say: "Since that moment, I knew that I was going to be a writer." To be completely honest, for the longest time I had zero clue as to what I wanted to be. Other than gainfully employed I suppose.

But after going through undergrad, then grad school, then this harsh thing called "real life," I realized that what I really wanted after all was not to be a lawyer or a professor (sorry Mom and Dad) but a writer.

Armed with nothing but guile and sticktoitiveness, I have found gigs as a researcher and world-builder for a sci-fi webseries, a ghostwriter for a variety of non-fiction books, all while maintaining my own personal newsletter.

When I don't have my eyes on a screen and fingers at a keyboard I like to go to the local independent cinemas, hunt for vinyls in record shops, and go for walks in the park hoping to run into a cat or dog to pet.
